I'm not much of a baseball watcher, but I have been keeping up with the Washington Nationals' post-season. (My parents are much better baseball fans than I am and have a home run ball my mom caught at a Nats game on their mantle.) I'm making this post on Wednesday morning so I don't know yet who won the last game of the World Series...I wondered about making an alternate post in case they lose, but sharks seem kind of appropriate for Halloween either way, right? Humor me, guys. For Art Thursday, sharks (baby and otherwise):

The Nationals won! Amazing story behind their year, too.
And these images are really cool. The Benchley quote really describes sharks nicely. They are, as someone else said, nature's perfect killing machine...but once you look past the menace, you can see a beautiful animal (and a great subject for B movies, a la Sharknado :-).
Oh, and the National Symphony Orchestra players performing "Baby Shark" is awesome!
Love this shark-y post! I don't watch much baseball, but I did tune in last night, and it was exciting! (The symphony folks doing "Baby Shark" is hilarious...!)
