* From what I hear, The Man in the Iron Mask is the last part of The Vicomte de Bragelonne, so you might want to start with that. Or go back and start with The Three Musketeers.

What a wonderful selection. And it amazes me how different artists portray the theme.
From the sinister to the pathetic to the noble. There are even a couple that do not include the mask at all. I have to admit, though, that the one where the epee seems to be sticking out of the prisoner's neck and the one where the prisoner looks like a blue superhero really caught my eye. ;-)
