An Ode to Orange

A man ought to carry himself in the world as an orange tree would if it could walk up and down in the garden, swinging perfume from every little censer it holds up to the air.

Beautiful sharing. Although I get so excited in the spring that milder weather is upon us, I still love autumn the best. That painting is so lovely. Thanks! I just finished Divergent, so am going to go back to your posts to see what you said then about the different factions. I didn't understand then, but now I will.

Once upon a time, a young expectant couple found a second-hand crib and, being a bit fanciful and artsy, painted it orange.

Years later, they discovered that their daughter favored orange above other colors.

And they did wonder if there was a connection. :-)

These are wonderful art works and the orange tones are indeed striking.
