Oh, Tabatha, a very happy belated birthday to you. Thank you for sharing these sweet poems. The reverse of "If the shoe fits, wear it" is such a wise thing to consider, like Nye does in her poem. And Dillard's teaching his daughter grace through his examples of grace make me think he is a good dad. Beautiful poems. Now, I'm going to check out the URL birthday gifts you left us.

Love the horcruxes analogy and giving different parts of ourselves to different friends. Yay for emerging hyacinths!!! I think mine are poking through too, but with the construction of our front porch going on I can't always get to areas out there…
