Arthur Streeton

During the First World War, Streeton served as a hospital orderly in London, and then as an official war artist with the Australian army. He was awarded a knighthood in 1937 for services to art.

These are wonderful...what a talented artist.

I love impressionist paintings and his is (or should be) considered among the best.

They're all good, but I was especially drawn to the one with the fellow on the log.
