Three for Spring

Behold, my brothers, the spring has come; the earth has received the embraces of the sun and we shall soon see the results of that love!
~Sitting Bull

I bring you three oversize paintings of spring:

The Troitse-Sergiyev Monastery in spring
by Konstantin Yuon

Spring Plowing
by Edvard Munch

Flowering Garden
by Vincent van Gogh

Really nice pieces...and the Munch painting is quite striking. (It's good to see something by him besides The Scream.)

And a happy Spring to you, too.

(Also loved the Sitting Bull quotation.)

I've never seen Spring Plowing before. I must agree with Pop about seeing something other than The Scream. You have quite the knack for finding the different, the unusual, the hidden or lesser seen. Really enjoyed this post!
