Everything we do seeds the future. No action is an empty one.

Hi folks! Happy Poetry Friday!
I'm not sure where I saw this poem by Leslie J. Anderson (did one of you post it?) but it feels like this is a good time to share it again anyway:

Thank you to everyone who gave me poems for my Brave compendium. Elena is formatting it and it will be ready by the 20th.
I signed up for Coursera's Sharpened Visions: A Poetry Workshop but I can tell I am going to have a hard time getting myself to follow through. Does anybody else want to do it and hold each other accountable?
The Miss Rumphius Effect has the Poetry Friday round-up. Thanks, Tricia!

Powerful poem. Thank you for sharing. So many interesting links on your site to browse, too!
Tabatha, the wolves. They make me sad and angry. I signed up for the poetry class too. Just now. I would love to be part of your hold each other accountable team!
Thanks, Denise!
HOLY COW, THAT POEM, TAB!!!
I'm glad you ran across it, whomever it came from.
In your heart is a knife
but also a harvest.
INDEED!
Heart-rending poem, kind of wishing it wasn't full of true warnings, Tabatha, yet also glad others realize we have to be ready. Whew!
Gut punch of a poem! Wow! Also, a perfect example of making a title do the heavy lifting!
Yes, we have to be ready, I'm dreading it, but working on being ready. What a wonderful Poetry Workshop, wish I could participate, Enjoy, and thanks!
Tabatha, self-help is needed when the wolves come. We will persist as a community. I would love to be involved in the workshop I would not be able to be a consistent worker.I'll see. Thanks for taking my poem into your project.
Thanks for sharing that powerful poem, Tabatha. I can feel the wolves howling.
This is a keeper. I'll be copying it into my notebook and sharpening the knife in my heart...for HARVEST.
"In your heart is a knife/but also a harvest" — Wow. As Mary Lee said, this is a keeper. Wow.
