Love daffodils...and that's a good thing because we have them everywhere on our two acres!
All the illustrations you included are really nice. Interesting that Thomas Hale called his illustration "Poetick Daffodil."
There is actually a type of daffodil called Narcissus poeticus, which is what that is! I looked it up -- they think it's the kind that the Greek legend of Narcissus was associated with!

Your many bouquets of yellow daffodil signs of Spring, in so many forms, are a joy to behold. I feel as if I've seen the lamp from the Tiffany studio here in Florida at the Morse Museum [but not sure.]
