The Bard, Again

I like that Shakespeare is lounging around as he writes (in the statue below). I also like the facial expressions in today's paintings, particularly the what-is-it-now? look on Hamlet's mother's face...

The Bard and his works...always an excellent topic.

I, too, like the reclining statue of Will, as well as the facial expression of Hamlet's mother.

I'm glad you included the Hogarth painting of the actor David Garrick. He was a genuine star of the theatre and deserves to be in this line-up.

And I wondered about Hamlet's buns too...sort of take center stage, don't they? ;-)

Do you think Garrick looks a little like Orlando Bloom? Is it just me?
