The weather was windy but beautiful yesterday for a protest, which I attended with my "We the People" banner.
Have you ever been to a protest where people chanted "This is what democracy looks like!"? I felt like my banner reflected that...We, the people, are what democracy looks like.
My banner was also pro-Constitution. What is this world where we need to actually say we're pro-Constitution?
I'll tell you...a world where countries who wanted to see us wrecked are enjoying themselves. *sigh*
My banner makes me think of this song, which brings a tear to my Gen X eye:
