I may be compelled to face danger, but never fear it.

Thank you, Tabatha, for sharing Maya Angelou reading this poem. I needed to hear these words this week and take strength from them.
Tabatha, this is needed now, words of overcoming, especially in Angelou's rich, mellow, comforting voice. It's like being wrapped in a warm embrace. Which is also much needed now.
Many thanks :)
hello Dear tabatha!! Yes & more yes! I especially sit up straight hearing Maya Angelou's poem lines:
"Lions on the loose"
~~~
"They don't frighten me at all."
c. Maya Angelou
I'm so appreciative of your finding & sharing this wonderful Cuppa Strength.
And from a poet whose words I have been fortuante to twice hear from her own presentation in Our Town. I'm so much more chipper today, because of You.
I feel speechless after that reading. Her words and her voice together. Thank you, Tabatha.
Oh, I still miss that glorious, rich voice and that indomitable spirit. Thank you for sharing these powerful words this week, Tabatha!
Hearing her words in her voice, time to take those words as strength for all of us. I would hope that all teachers could share this with students, Tabatha. Thank you!
Great choice for these days!
Terrific, thanks Tabatha, I had to listen to it a couple times, I liked it so much and her powerfully supportive voice. I'm going to remember her powerfully supportive voice and that "magic charm that I keep up my sleeve," as we move through inaugural week…
Thanks for sharing this inspirational reading!
What a balm for the soul. I'm listening to this right before bed. I listen like it's a prayer.
Perfect choice: perfect poem, and to hear her voice...a bonus bit of calm.
SUCH a great poem. It also exists as a picture book, which I love. xo
What a gift to hear her voice and this poem--thanks!
