Centaurs

"Never," said Hagrid irritably, "try an' get a straight answer out of a centaur."
~J.K. Rowling

My younger daughter picked today's topic. Centaurs! I'm really curious about the centaur who is shooting its own tail (on Georgian money). What's up with that?

I don't know why I find centaurs so intriguing. I didn't know both LaFarge and Sargent painted them!

But I adored the humorous "The Centaurs Nobody Respects". So very clever!

Once again, a most enjoyable post!

I really like the Disrespected Centaurs pieces, too. Very cool.

And I'm sure there's symbolic meaning in the centaur/dragon stamp...just don't know what it might be.
