What a treat to start my teaching day with Shakespeare and Keats read so beautifully. Thanks, Tabatha!
Loved these, especially the recitation by Alan Rickman, who celebrated a birthday yesterday. As a voice artist, I don't tend to compare myself to others, but I have to be honest: if I could have any other voice, I'd pick his!
Um, thanks for the Ear Candy today :). I want to marry Alan Rickman's voice! Nice to hear Shakespeare and Keats. Sigh.
You had me at Alan Rickman. That voice goes right through me. Have you ever seen "Truly, Madly, Deeply"? Swoon. (Thanks for the lovely b'day card, lady!)
Wow - these are amazing. Benedict Cumberbatch is my 15 y/o's absolute favorite actor. I'm sharing this clip with her tonight! Thank you for the listening pleasure. =)
Beautiful-all, but I think Alan Rickman is certainly blessed with that voice. I like the first ones too, however. Thank you Tabatha.
Yes, to LISTEN... what a gift that is. In one of Leonard Cohen's songs he says something about being born like this, "I was born with the gift of a golden voice." We get the voice we get, and oh Alan Rickman! Now, let's see if I can create a t-shirt.... :)
What a nice surprise to find these clips here. Thank you! Love the quote, too.
Alan Rickman's voice is such a gift.
So fun! Just listened to these with my daughter. I like Alan Rickman the best, too (one of my very favorite poems), but my daughter thinks he just sounds like Snape. :-)
Yes, Alan Rickman had me swooning, as usual.
