Marian Hill

The duo from Philadelphia known as "Marian Hill" is Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd (nobody named Marian!).

Really nice improvisational jazz...and fascinating visuals. I absolutely loved the video effects on I Know Why...mesmerizing!
BTW, being a naturally curious person, I just *had* to know why they call themselves Marian Hill. And, of course, Wikipedia had the answer: Their name comes from two characters, Marian Paroo and Harold Hill, from the musical The Music Man. The article didn't say why, so we'll just have to wonder.
(Just as we have to wonder why rock group Jethro Tull named themselves after an English agricultural inventor 1674-1741.)
