We must have a pie. Stress cannot exist in the presence of a pie.
~David Mamet
Off the top of my head, I can't think of any kinds of pie that I don't like. I'm sure there's something out there somewhere, but you'd have to put in some effort to find it. Accomplished artisan bakers can make amazingly ornate pies, but even a "regular" pie can be a work of art in the hands of the right photographer.

Now you have me wishing that I had a piece of pie to have for breakfast! My youngest granddaughter is a picky eater, sometimes! But offer a piece of pie, especially pumpkin, and she will celebrate! Pies can be served with memories too, a grandmother's lemon merinque and another's butterscotch! Lovely, yummy post, Tabatha!
Tabatha! Darn it, now I'm going to be craving pie. Linda's butterscotch pie sounds like the perfect lunch.
That link to ornate pies was aMAZing!! I had no idea that "pie art" was a thing. I adored the Strawberry Rhubarb art pie especially. Where are the napkins... I'm drooling, ha ha ha.
