Here Comes The Sun

The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.
~ Galileo Galilei

A lot of people long for summer, but it's too hot for me. I enjoy a breezy sunny day, a nice thunderstorm, a bit of snow. I have no heat limitations on representations of the sun, though.

  1. "Here comes the sun, and I say 'it's all right.'" (Beatles)

I love all the seasons, for they shine all in their own way.

Wonderful selections of Sun pieces. From the Sun King to Apollo's Chariot to the center of the rose piece.

And even a literary reference (The Sun also Rises...actually, my favorite piece this week).

  2. With winter finally showing up this week, some warm sun is welcome.

  3. These are beautiful photos in celebration of the sun! While I have a collection of photographs of the moon and trees in various cities I visited, I have not explored the sun yet and its various representations/symbolic imageries/elements. Should probably do that as well. :)
