From medieval tapestries, we know that slingers were capable of hitting birds in flight. They were incredibly accurate.
~Malcolm Gladwell
I read the above quote in the middle of the night (insomnia!) and I first thought he was talking about "singers." I sat there for a minute trying to figure out how that would work, and then I realized it was "slingers." ha!

ReplyDeleteI guess if singers could hit really, really high notes? :-)
ReplyDeleteVery humorous medieval art "commentary"...thought "Monday Morning" quite appropriate.
And the video about the snails was fascinating.
Love this. Waving from "the margins" where I'm making art!
ReplyDelete(Side note -- I doodled snails a LOT in high school, but not as social commentary. They are fun to draw! Now I might be adding them to the margins of my notebook with more intention...)
Thanks for the knights and snails video!
