Women during earlier times have been tried as witches for having this kind of knowledge - the fact that this can be studied openly today is such a gift! Looking forward to learning more about this through you. Hope it gives you great fodder for poetry too!GatheringBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04477710897574769648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91636461349673530.post-59548862742742969122014-03-29T18:29:52.211-04:002014-03-29T18:29:52.211-04:00So interesting! They would do wonders for people with allergies and so many other ailments as well. Totally changed my perspective. I wish more people knew about how eastern and western medicine can go hand in hand.Michelle Heidenrich Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02051827857519159837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91636461349673530.post-41730138061994823512014-03-28T20:01:55.516-04:002014-03-28T20:01:55.516-04:00Fascinating...both your study and the connection y...Fascinating...both your study and the connection you found to poetry!Mary Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09078793537148794310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91636461349673530.post-73024702632625798632014-03-28T18:31:47.499-04:002014-03-28T18:31:47.499-04:00Yes, my daughter takes dried stinging nettle (in c...Yes, my daughter takes dried stinging nettle (in capsules), twice a day. Good to counteract sugars, and the cinnamon oil removed a plantar's wart when I was a teen. My mom, an RN, read about it in an herbal remedies book so we tried it after burning it out at the doctor's office didn't work. Went away and never came back after the cinnamon treatment.Donna Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13738281869266957726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-91636461349673530.post-23869029386812953152014-03-28T15:02:17.354-04:002014-03-28T15:02:17.354-04:00Herbs are amazing. Clever wording, isn't it? My mother-in-law was well versed in herbs, used different ones for different things, & was healthy till her death. I've found that certain things do help, am interested in the 'nettle' theory, as my son, daughter-in-law & grandson all have allergies. Hope you share again, Tabatha.
