Back to Beads

Nymph, about her green glass beads: Goblin, why do you love them so?

Goblin: They are better than stars or water,
Better than voices of winds that sing,
Better than any man's fair daughter,
Your green glass beads on a silver ring.
~Harold Munro

When you post hundreds of times, eventually you cover topics more than once. Like beads...

There's absolutely nothing wrong with covering a topic more than once! No way could you show in one session all the amazing things done in one art form. And beads are an excellent example!

These are all wonderful, but I must admit I was just blown away by the cameo...just exquisite.

These are all beautiful but I especially love the first one!

Here in South Louisiana when you say beads, we say "Throw me something, mista." Mardi Gras beads are the rage (or saved in bags in your closet.) These beads are stunning. I love the glass art bead. I imagine it is very small but the design is vast.
