Broken

In this abundant earth no doubt
Is little room for things worn out :
Disdain them, break them, throw them by!
And if before the days grew rough
We once were loved, used, — well enough,
I think, we've fared, my heart and I.
~Elizabeth Barrett Browning 1806–1861

This week I challenged myself to use "broken" as my Art Thursday theme. I thought it might be hard, but it actually turned out to be easier than some other themes. There are a lot of strangely compelling broken things in the world!

Excellent theme this week, Tabatha. Items often break in artistic ways and your examples prove the point!

Loved the Moving Fall video. Actually, I'm really glad the TV *wasn't* caught by the guys on the balcony...I doubt they could have held on anyway (and maybe even have fallen themselves!).

And the Browning quote was great.
