Lovely art this morning, Tabatha.

Can't help but identify with Tired (Morning Mood) sometimes. ;-)

And I would guess that Mr. Church got up *really* early to paint Beacon, off Mount Desert Island!

These are beautiful, Tabatha. I would have liked to send you a portrait of me, shivering in so many layers of clothing (the Florida temperature a balmy 28 degrees this morning), but it might have messed with the mood you've created here.

The power of Oswald Achenbachs morning painting to transport the viewer to another time and space is amazing. I just looked and looked... hearing the gulls, seeing the stories, even smelling the salty air. Oh, to paint like that!
Thank you for another wonderful Art Thursday.
