A DIY Collection

“Write it. Shoot it. Publish it. Crochet it, sauté it, whatever. MAKE.”
―Joss Whedon

Today, I have links to previous posts about making your own stuff. Some are directly poetry-related and some can be if you want them to be. For instance, you could put anything in the fortune cookies, including poems. Ditto the wordy jewelry. But not everything is poetry-related, e.g. this googly-eye ring my daughter invented:

If you have questions or find links that don't work, let me know. Also, don't forget to check out the info on the Winter Poem Swap at the bottom.

Want to join the Winter Poem Swap? It is a one-time swap and you give a little present with your poem. (Here's an example from last year when Robyn and I were swap partners.) If you would like to join, email me by November 1st.

Hi, Tabatha. I especially liked the book bracelet you featured under word jewelry. I am into making knitted bookmarks right now!

Wow! Lots of stuff for us today. I love that quote by Miles Davis and, I have to say, that's a great googly-eyed ring!

At last my curiosity is satisfied about the poetry binder dividers! SO CLEVER. Count me in on the winter poem swap -- the summer swap was such fun!

I love how you always come up with a collection of links that we would enjoy. My husband is deeply into DIY this week - tinkering around the house, making drawers from scratch, building bookcases and all that jazz. :) Will read him DIY poetry too through your links if I find any. Hehe.

Tabatha, you are amazing! I really like that desk made of books from Delft University.

Too much fun for one post! I'll be coming back to this one again and again, I suspect. Great Miles Davis quote too.
